Minister for Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Khadak Raj Poudel held separate courtesy meetings at the ministry on 17 April 2026 with H.E. Ms. Diana Mickeviciene, non-resident Ambassador of Lithuania to Nepal, H.E. Mr. Zhang Maoming, Ambassador of China to Nepal, and H.E. Mr. Maeda Toru, Ambassador of Japan to Nepal.

During the meetings, the ambassadors expressed appreciation to the Government of Nepal and the minister for the support and cooperation provided during their tenure. They also said cooperation in areas related to culture, tourism and civil aviation would continue in the future.

Minister Poudel thanked the friendly countries for their support in Nepal’s development, especially in the tourism sector. He expressed hope that cooperation from countries including China, Japan and Lithuania would continue to further strengthen bilateral and people-to-people relations and support Nepal’s tourism development.
