Women Minister Sita Badi Meets Slovenia’s Proposed Non-Resident Ambassador

Minister for Women, Children and Senior Citizens Sita Badi held a courtesy meeting with Slovenia’s proposed non-resident ambassador to Nepal, H.E. Tomaz Mencin, at the ministry on 2083 Baisakh 9.

During the meeting, both sides discussed bilateral relations, women’s empowerment, social development and climate change. Minister Badi emphasized the need to further strengthen Nepal-Slovenia friendly relations through high-level visits, exchange of views and cooperation in international forums.

Ambassador Mencin expressed that Slovenia is positive about cooperation in areas such as women’s empowerment, youth engagement and technical support. Minister Badi also thanked Slovenia for the support Nepal has received through the European Union.
