The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens has published a second notice inviting applications for technology support under the President Women Empowerment Project. The notice applies only to local levels in Lumbini Province and Karnali Province.
According to the ministry, the program aims to provide technology support to women entrepreneurs and women entrepreneur groups under the annual program for fiscal year 2081/82. Interested applicants must submit their applications to the concerned local level within seven days from the publication date of the notice.
Applicants are required to submit documents including business registration or renewal certificate, PAN or VAT registration certificate, tax filing or tax clearance certificate, business permit if required, business plan, and details of the requested technology and the capacity to use it.
The concerned local levels will collect and review the applications and recommend eligible applicants to the respective provincial Social Development Ministry within seven days after the application deadline. The ministry has also requested that applications submitted during the first notice be included in the process.
