Health Ministry Shortlists 19 Candidates for Senior Posts at Pharmacy and Ayurvedic Medical Councils

The Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene has published an interview notice for candidates shortlisted for senior appointments in public health regulatory bodies. The selection follows an earlier vacancy notice published in Gorkhapatra and evaluation under the ministry’s Selection, Recommendation and Appointment Procedure for Officeholders of Public Bodies, 2083. Shortlisted candidates have been instructed to bring the original copies of the required documents when appearing for interview.

According to the notice, seven candidates have been shortlisted for Chairperson of the Nepal Pharmacy Council, seven for Registrar of the Nepal Pharmacy Council, and five for Registrar of the Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council, making 19 shortlist entries in total. The ministry said details relating to the selection of officeholders for other institutions will be published gradually in separate notices.

The presentations and interviews will be held at the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene, Singha Durbar. Interviews for the Nepal Pharmacy Council Chairperson will begin at 10:00 am on Shrawan 8, 2083, followed by the Registrar interviews at 2:00 pm the same day. Interviews for the Nepal Ayurvedic Medical Council Registrar are scheduled for 10:00 am on Shrawan 11, 2083.
