The Ministry of Education and Sports has issued a press release after receiving complaints that some institutional schools in different districts were charging students in the name of admission, transfer certificate, and other related procedures.

According to the ministry, such fee collection is against the provisions of the Education Rules and the standards set by concerned authorities. The ministry has reminded schools that they must follow the approved fee structure and legal procedures while admitting students or issuing transfer-related documents.

The ministry has requested local governments and concerned education authorities to monitor such activities and take necessary action against schools found collecting unauthorized fees. It has also urged schools not to create financial pressure on parents and students in the name of admission or transfer processes.
