The Ministry of Education and Sports, through its Educational Consultancy and Certification Branch, has announced the repeal of the Educational Consultancy Service and Language Teaching Directive, 2073. The ministry issued the notice after the government introduced the Educational Consultancy, Language Teaching and Preparation Classes (Operation and Management) Regulations, 2083.

According to the notice, the new regulations were published in the Nepal Gazette on Asar 25, 2083 and subsequently came into force. Since the previous 2073 directive was no longer necessary following implementation of the new regulatory framework, the ministry decided to formally revoke it.

The directive was repealed through a ministerial-level decision dated Shrawan 18, 2083, and the ministry issued the notice on Shrawan 19, 2083 to inform educational consultancies, language-teaching institutions, preparation-class operators and other concerned stakeholders.
