Share

Summary:

Nepal’s National Planning Commission has asked all municipalities and rural municipalities to provide information on their local-level budget management practices within seven days through a designated Google Form.

The National Planning Commission (NPC) has prepared an online questionnaire as part of a study on budget management at the local level and has requested cooperation from municipalities and rural municipalities across Nepal. In a letter dated 2083/03/12, the commission asked local governments to submit the required information through a Google Form using the provided link or QR code.

The commission has given local governments seven days to complete and submit the requested details. The questionnaire is intended to collect information needed for the NPC’s study of how local-level budgets are managed, providing a standardized online mechanism for gathering comparable information from municipalities nationwide.

Following the NPC’s request, the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration circulated the instruction on 2083/03/17 (1 July 2026) to all rural municipalities and municipalities, asking them to act in accordance with the attached commission letter. The ministry also directed its information technology branch to upload the notice to its website for wider access.

The Google Form provided in the notice is available at https://forms.gle/Ait1h9b9gkJmqxEM8, with the QR code printed on the NPC letter for easier access.
