The Government of Nepal has recommended three candidates for appointment as General Manager of Udayapur Cement Industry Limited following a competitive recruitment process. According to a notice published by the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies on Ashoj 30, 2083 BS, the recommendation committee evaluated applications submitted for the vacant position in accordance with the Guidelines for Appointment and Nomination of Officials in Public Bodies Affiliated with the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Supplies, 2079. The committee decided on Ashoj 19, 2083 BS, to recommend the three highest-scoring candidates in order of merit.

The recommended candidates are Umesh Lamichhane of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-4, Chitwan; Kamal Bahadur Shahi of Raskot Municipality-3, Kalikot; and Ram Chandra Pandey of Chhatradev Rural Municipality-8, Arghakhanchi. The ministry published their names and addresses to inform the public about the outcome of the evaluation and recommendation process.

The notice confirms the recommendation of three candidates but does not announce the final appointment of a General Manager. The appointment remains subject to the applicable government procedures.
