The Office of the Company Registrar has announced the integration of its Company Administration Management Information System (CAMIS) with the electronic system of the Inland Revenue Department. The interoperability arrangement follows a memorandum of understanding signed between the two offices on Baisakh 31, 2083.
According to the notice, the integrated system became operational on Asar 15, 2083. Companies registering through the Office of the Company Registrar can now obtain their Permanent Account Number (PAN) through the connected system without having to complete a separate manual process with the tax authority.
The office said the PAN certificate generated for newly registered companies can also be downloaded and printed directly through CAMIS, making the company registration and tax-registration process more streamlined for service users.
The initiative is expected to reduce administrative duplication and physical visits while strengthening digital coordination between company administration and tax authorities as Nepal expands online public services for businesses.
