The Ministry of Education, Science and Technology has issued a press release after receiving complaints that some schools and teachers are conducting paid entrance preparation classes after the annual examinations. The ministry said such activities are being carried out under different names and students are being charged fees, which has drawn serious attention from the government.

According to the ministry, schools should not create unnecessary financial pressure on students and guardians in the name of entrance preparation. It has instructed schools not to conduct such paid preparation classes and not to collect fees from students for this purpose.

The ministry has also requested concerned authorities, including local levels, education development and coordination units, and related bodies, to monitor and stop such practices. The notice emphasizes that school admission and learning activities should be conducted in a fair and regulated manner without placing extra financial burden on parents.
