The Ministry of Health and Population has issued a notice asking health-related offices and institutions under the ministry to appoint a focal person for addressing complaints received through the Hello Sarkar system.
According to the notice, the decision follows the government’s governance reform action plan approved by the Council of Ministers on 2082 Chaitra 13. Under this plan, the government aims to develop Hello Sarkar as a citizen dialogue platform and improve the real-time monitoring of complaint progress.
The ministry has requested departments, hospitals, councils, laboratories, research centres, ayurvedic institutions and other concerned bodies to send the details of one focal person from each office. The details should include the person’s name, position, office, contact number and email address.
The information must be sent to the ministry through goodgovsec@mohp.gov.np. The ministry said the move is aimed at making complaint management faster, coordinated and more accountable.
