Women Ministry Invites EOI for GBV Service Provider Under World Bank-Funded Project

Summary:

The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens has invited eligible NGOs to submit expressions of interest for providing GBV prevention and response services under the Institutionalizing GBV Response in Nepal project.

The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens, through the Project Management Unit of the Institutionalizing GBV Response in Nepal project, has issued a Request for Expressions of Interest for the recruitment of a Gender-Based Violence Service Provider. The project is supported by World Bank financing under Grant No. TF0C3548.

The selected NGO will support project activities related to GBV prevention and response, focusing on vulnerable women, girls and GBV survivors. The service provider will work with federal, provincial and local governments, as well as community-level platforms, to strengthen immediate response services and improve coordination among the Project Management Unit, Project Implementation Unit, GBV response committees and municipalities.

The consulting service is expected to run for up to 24 months, with the assignment expected to start in January 2026. The service provider’s team will include 4 key experts and 7 non-key experts, with required experience in Nepal and familiarity with local culture and language.

Interested NGOs must submit their expressions of interest by 31 August 2025, 12:00 noon, either in person, by mail or by email at igbvrn2024@gmail.com. Shortlisting will be based on general work experience, specific work experience, and technical and managerial capability, while the final selection will follow the Quality and Cost Based Selection (QCBS) method.
