The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has announced the handover of historically important Nepali manuscripts from Germany to Nepal. The manuscripts were officially returned during a special ceremony organized with the support of German authorities and cultural institutions.
According to the ministry, the returned manuscripts hold historical, cultural and academic importance for Nepal and reflect the long-standing friendship and cooperation between Nepal and Germany in the field of cultural heritage preservation.
The government expressed appreciation to the German side for its cooperation and commitment toward protecting and preserving Nepal’s cultural heritage. The returned manuscripts are expected to contribute to historical research, cultural studies and preservation efforts in Nepal.
