The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has expressed deep sorrow over the death of an innocent Nepali national in an attack in northern Kuwait. In a press release issued on July 30, 2026, the ministry unequivocally condemned the indiscriminate attack against civilians and extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.

Nepal called on all concerned parties to pursue dialogue and diplomacy, exercise maximum restraint, and ensure the safety and protection of civilians and civilian infrastructure. The ministry also stressed the need for full respect for the Geneva Conventions and strict adherence to applicable rules of international humanitarian law.

The government reaffirmed its commitment to providing all necessary assistance to the victim’s family, including facilitating the earliest possible repatriation of the deceased Nepali national’s mortal remains.
