Seniority-Based Nominations Open for ACMD and PCMD In-Service Training

Energy Ministry has asked its departments to recommend eligible second and third class officers for management and development training run by Nepal Administrative Staff College.

The Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation has issued a notice to its departments regarding nomination of employees for in-service training programs conducted by the Nepal Administrative Staff College.

The training includes the Advanced Course on Management and Development (ACMD) for gazetted second class or equivalent officers and the Professional Course on Management and Development (PCMD) for gazetted third class or equivalent officers. The ministry has asked the Department of Water Resources and Irrigation, Department of Electricity Development, and Department of Hydrology and Meteorology to send details of interested eligible employees.

According to the schedule, ACMD-5 has one seat and will run from 2082/12/10 for 40 working days. PCMD-9 has two seats and will run from 2082/12/11 for 32 working days, while PCMD-10 has two seats and will run from 2082/12/16 for 32 working days.

Nominations will be based on seniority. Eligible second class officers must have completed at least two years in the current level by the end of Ashar 2081, while third class officers must have completed at least three years. Employees who have already taken in-service training of 30 working days or more in their current level will not be eligible.
