Summary:

The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has invited original, unpublished articles on public administration, governance and development for the 144th issue of its Prashasan journal.

The ministry has opened submissions for the 144th issue of Prashasan Patrika (Journal), its regular publication focused on public administration and governance. Interested writers, researchers and professionals have been asked to submit original articles electronically to the ministry’s Administration Reform Division within the prescribed deadline. The journal is seeking work relevant to public-sector policy, administration and contemporary governance challenges.

Suggested areas include public administration and public management, public policy and development policy, development administration and management, economic and social development, governance systems, political reform, good governance, public-service delivery and emerging issues in public administration. The notice allows both analytical and research-based articles, but specifies different structures for each type of submission.

Analytical articles should generally include a heading, an abstract of up to 150 words, up to five keywords, background, analysis, conclusion and references. Research-oriented articles should additionally include objectives, literature review, methodology, data presentation and analysis, results and discussion, acknowledgement where applicable, and references. Citations and references must follow APA 7th Edition, while Nepali and English manuscripts must follow the prescribed font and formatting standards.

Authors are also required to provide their brief introduction, email address and mobile number, maintain linguistic and grammatical accuracy, and disclose any financial, technical or other support received for the work. The ministry says submissions will be reviewed through the journal’s editorial process, and publication will depend on acceptance under its standards.
