Health Ministry Shortlists Candidates for Vice-Chancellor Posts at Six Health Science Institutions

The Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene has published the shortlist and interview schedule for the appointment of vice-chancellors at six health science institutions: the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Patan Academy of Health Sciences, Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences, Karnali Academy of Health Sciences, Rapti Academy of Health Sciences and B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences (BPKIHS). The candidates were selected from applications received following the ministry’s earlier vacancy notice and evaluated under the approved selection and recommendation procedure.

According to the notice, seven candidates have been shortlisted for each institution, making 42 shortlist entries across the six bodies. The shortlisted candidates will take part in presentations and interviews, and have been instructed to bring the original or required certified copies of documents specified under the selection procedure when attending.

Interviews for NAMS, Patan Academy, Pokhara Academy and BPKIHS are scheduled for Asar 16, 2083, while candidates for Karnali Academy and Rapti Academy will appear on Asar 17, 2083. Both sessions are scheduled to begin at 9:00 am at the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu.
