The Ministry of Education and Sports has announced the postponement of the main ceremony planned to mark the 19th Library Day on Bhadra 15, 2083. This year’s Library Day was to be observed under the slogan “Children, Youth and Elderly: Libraries Are Everyone’s Destination.”
According to the ministry, the decision was taken considering the sensitive and mournful situation created by severe flooding in different parts of Nepal, which has caused significant human casualties and property damage.
The ministry said the main Library Day ceremony has been postponed and issued the notice to inform all concerned stakeholders. The notice is dated Bhadra 11, 2083.
