According to the ministry, the decision was taken considering the sensitive and mournful situation created by severe flooding in different parts of Nepal, which has caused significant human casualties and property damage.

The ministry said the main Library Day ceremony has been postponed and issued the notice to inform all concerned stakeholders. The notice is dated Bhadra 11, 2083.
