The Ministry of Women, Children, Gender and Sexual Minorities and Social Security has published the list of women entrepreneurs selected for the Women Entrepreneur Samunnati Award 2083.
According to the notice, seven women entrepreneurs from all seven provinces have been selected for the award. The recipients include Bishnumaya Kandangwa Limbu from Koshi Province, Chanchala Das from Madhesh Province, Chandrakala Shrestha from Bagmati Province, Ramkali Khadka from Gandaki Province, Hirimana Rathi from Lumbini Province, Subhana Pandey from Karnali Province, and Jamuna Bohara from Sudurpaschim Province.
The selected entrepreneurs are involved in different enterprises such as fruit processing, skill training, compost production, women’s skill development, sewing and weaving, hosiery training, and handicraft training. The award aims to recognize and encourage women entrepreneurs contributing to local enterprise development and women’s economic empowerment across Nepal.
