Home Ministry Invites Grant Applications from Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres

The Narcotics Control Branch has asked eligible institutions working in drug treatment and rehabilitation to apply for government grants within 15 days.

The Narcotics Control Branch under the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notice inviting applications from organisations and institutions working in the field of treatment and rehabilitation of drug users.

According to the notice, grants will be provided for the fiscal year 2082/83 under the Grant Distribution Procedure for Treatment and Rehabilitation Centres for Drug Users, 2076. Interested and eligible institutions must submit their applications to the branch within 15 days from the notice publication date.

Applicants are required to submit supporting documents including the organisation registration certificate, statute or constitution, ministry affiliation certificate, annual general meeting decision, audit report, VAT/PAN certificate, tax clearance certificate, location map, details of financial, physical and human resources, and a proposed program plan after receiving the grant.

The ministry has also stated that institutions that received grants from the ministry earlier but have not cleared their advance amount will not be eligible to apply again. Further information can be obtained from the ministry’s website or by contacting the branch.
