The Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration has forwarded a nomination notice to the Ministry of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation for a long-term foreign study scholarship under Japan’s “GX Human Resources Development for Energy Sector Program” for JFY 2026.
The program will be conducted in Japan through JICA and is related to study in energy policy, social science and engineering. It includes opportunities for master’s and doctoral-level study, with the master’s program expected to run for two years from September 2026. The number of seats is not clearly stated in the notice.
Eligible candidates are expected to be young or mid-career government officials, or affiliated professionals who can contribute to policy formulation and implementation in sustainable development-related fields.
