Home Ministry Forms Probe Team to Investigate Humla-Bajura Border Incident

According to the ministry, an emergency meeting chaired by the Home Secretary and attended by the Defence Secretary, chiefs and representatives of all security agencies decided to form the probe team. The team has been directed to immediately visit the field and submit its report.

The ministry said special teams from Nepal Police and Armed Police Force, Nepal have already been deployed to the incident site from both Humla and Bajura. District Security Committees have also been instructed to remain on high alert and adopt necessary security strategies to prevent such incidents in the future.

The Home Ministry stated that it is fully committed to protecting citizens’ lives and maintaining peace in the border area. It has also urged citizens of both districts to remain calm while the investigation and coordination efforts continue.
