Health Ministry Asks Offices to Submit Front Desk Staff Details for Training Plan

Summary:

The Health Ministry has directed its departments, hospitals and related bodies to send details of front desk employees and their training needs within seven days.

The Ministry of Health and Population has asked all departments, federal hospitals, academies, councils, boards, committees and centres under the ministry to submit details of employees working at front desks.

The instruction follows a letter from the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration, based on the governance reform action plan approved by the Council of Ministers on 2082 Chaitra 13. The reform agenda states that employees working at the front desk of service-providing offices should receive training related to all services available from their offices within six months.

The Health Ministry has asked concerned offices to compile and submit the list of front desk staff, types of services provided, required training, number of employees, and focal person details within seven days. The information must be sent to the Internal Administration Branch or emailed to admin@mohp.gov.np.

The required format also asks offices to include employee details such as employee ID, name, position, current responsibility, mobile number and email. The move is aimed at improving public service delivery by making front desk employees better trained, informed and service-oriented.
