Education Ministry Issues Final Notice to School Inspector Shyamala Paudel Over Long Absence

Summary:

The Education Ministry has given Shyamala Paudel 30 days to submit clarification before possible dismissal from service.

The Ministry of Education and Sports has issued a second public notice regarding Shyamala Paudel, a Branch Officer/School Inspector working under the Nepal Education Service. According to the notice, Paudel had been granted extraordinary leave until 2077/05/11, but she allegedly failed to return to duty after the leave ended.

The ministry says she remained absent for more than 90 days without approval, which may lead to dismissal under the Civil Service Act. A first notice was earlier published asking her to submit clarification within 15 days, but no response was received within the given time.

The ministry has now provided a final opportunity, asking Paudel to submit her explanation within 30 days from the publication of this notice. Otherwise, action may be taken according to the Civil Service Act and Rules.
