The Narcotics Control Branch under the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notice requesting articles for the 23rd edition of its annual drug-related journal “Surakshit Jeevan.” The ministry has invited experts, researchers, concerned agencies, rehabilitation centres, academics, stakeholders and the general public to submit write-ups on issues related to drug abuse, prevention and control.
Suggested topics include trends in drug use, youth addiction, links between drug abuse and other diseases, drug-related crime investigation, new efforts and challenges in drug control, coordination among government levels, demand reduction, supply control, rehabilitation centre management, oral substitution methods, and the role of stakeholders, provincial governments and local levels in drug prevention and control.
Articles must be original, informative and research-based, with a length of 2,000 to 3,000 words. Submissions should follow the prescribed format, including title, summary, keywords, introduction, main content, conclusion, references and author details. References should follow APA formatting style.
The ministry has asked contributors to send their articles by 2083 Baisakh 10 through drug@moha.gov.np or moha.drugportal@gmail.com. Selected articles will be published after review by the editorial board, and authors of published articles will receive remuneration as per rules.
