The Narcotics Control Branch under the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notice inviting applications from drug treatment and rehabilitation centres for awards. The program is being carried out under the ministry’s approved annual budget and program for fiscal year 2082/83.
According to the notice, the ministry will select and reward centres that have performed well in the treatment and rehabilitation of drug users. The selection will be based on indicators set under the Drug Treatment and Rehabilitation Centre Operation Directive, 2075 and related standards.
Interested centres must submit applications within 15 days from the publication date of the notice to the concerned District Administration Office. Required documents include registration and renewal certificates, affiliation or approval documents, annual general assembly decision, VAT/PAN certificate, audit reports, ownership or ward recommendation documents, resource details and progress reports.
The ministry said further information can be obtained from the Narcotics Control Branch or through the Ministry of Home Affairs website.
