Nepal’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has officially launched the MoFA Nepal Summer Internship 2026, an eight-week research-based programme aimed at engaging young scholars and professionals in policy-oriented foreign affairs research. The internship will place selected participants within the ministry, where they will contribute independent research related to Nepal’s foreign policy priorities.

The programme will be conducted by the Institute of Foreign Affairs Nepal and is open to graduates and professionals residing both in Nepal and abroad. The initiative seeks to provide participants with practical exposure to policy research and foreign affairs while supporting evidence-based policy discussions.

The ministry has encouraged applications from Nepali citizens, Non-Resident Nepali (NRN) cardholders, and people of Nepali origin. Nepal-based professionals and researchers are also welcome to apply for the programme.
