The Vice-Chancellor Selection and Recommendation Committee under the Ministry of Health and Food Hygiene has published details of applications received for vacant vice-chancellor posts at six health science institutions. The applications were submitted online following the committee’s vacancy notice published on Jestha 4, 2083.
According to the notice, Pokhara Academy of Health Sciences received the highest number of applications with 26, followed by the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), Kathmandu, with 24. Patan Academy of Health Sciences received 19 applications, Rapti Academy of Health Sciences received 17, B.P. Koirala Institute of Health Sciences received 16, and Karnali Academy of Health Sciences received 11.
In total, the committee received 113 applications for the six vacant vice-chancellor positions. The information was released by the committee secretariat for the knowledge of applicants and other concerned stakeholders.
