The Ministry of Home Affairs, Singha Durbar, Kathmandu, has published the district ranking table for the second quarter of fiscal year 2082/83 under CPAS. The document evaluates all 77 districts on the basis of uploaded, approved, pending and rejected submissions. According to the table, districts were assessed against 54 required uploadable items, with a full mark of 20.25.

Manang secured the top position in the ranking with 19.5 marks, after uploading all 54 required items and getting all of them approved. Nuwakot ranked second with 19.375 marks, while Doti, Parbat, Rupandehi and Syangja jointly stood third with 19.25 marks each. Chitwan, Rasuwa, Dang and Myagdi also remained among the top-performing districts.

The ranking shows that several districts performed strongly, with many scoring above 18 marks. Districts such as Dhankuta, Baglung, Mahottari, Ramechhap and Lalitpur shared equal marks in the upper section of the table. However, the scores also indicate that some districts lost marks because of pending or rejected submissions, even when they had uploaded most of the required items.

At the bottom of the list, Kathmandu ranked 77th with only 3 marks, after uploading just 7 out of 54 items. Dhanusha ranked 76th with 4.8125 marks, followed by Parsa, Siraha, Lamjung and Kaski among the lower-performing districts. The document is presented as an official ranking table and carries the signatures and seal of the Home Ministry officials.
