The Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs and General Administration has issued a press release stating that various complaints and problems have been reported regarding coordination between chief administrative officers and elected representatives at local levels.
The ministry said delays in filling vacant chief administrative officer posts and problems in daily administrative work have affected service delivery. It stated that resolving such issues and making local-level work more effective remains a high priority.
To address the problems, the ministry has formed a coordination and facilitation committee under the leadership of the ministry secretary, with representatives from the Municipal Association of Nepal and the National Association of Rural Municipalities in Nepal. The ministry has requested local levels to submit related complaints through official grievance portals, email and WhatsApp.
