The Ministry of Education and Sports has issued a notice regarding the Chinese Government Transportation Scholarship 2026. According to the notice, China has requested Nepal to recommend two Nepali students for the scholarship. The seats are for master’s level study in Artificial Intelligence, with one seat reserved for women.

Applicants must have completed a bachelor’s degree in engineering and must have received the IOE, TU Pulchowk MSc Electronics and Computer Engineering Cluster entrance result score card. Interested eligible Nepali students must apply through the given Google form between 2082/12/28 and 2083/01/04, equivalent to April 17, 2026, within office hours.

The scholarship is offered by Dalian Maritime University (DMU) under the Chinese Government Transportation Scholarship Type A. It covers tuition, application fee, on-campus accommodation, monthly living allowance of 3,000 RMB, and medical insurance, but international travel expenses are not covered. Final admission results are expected by the end of July 2026.
