Finance Minister Wagle Meets APG High-Level Delegation on Nepal’s Grey List Action Plan

Finance Minister Dr. Swarnim Wagle held a meeting with a high-level delegation from the Asia Pacific Group on Money Laundering (APG) led by APG Co-Chair Mr. David Shannon.

According to the Ministry of Finance, the discussion focused on Nepal’s action plan after the country was placed under the FATF Jurisdiction under Increased Monitoring (Grey List). The APG delegation shared updates regarding technical assistance, coordination and monitoring support related to Nepal’s compliance process.

The ministry stated that the delegation informed the finance minister about the findings and observations from its recent high-level visit to Nepal. During the meeting, Minister Wagle expressed commitment to effectively implementing the required reforms and action plans within the given timeframe.
