The Ministry of Women, Children and Senior Citizens has issued a press release stating that office-bearers of the Social Welfare Council have been automatically relieved from their posts.
According to the ministry, the decision follows Section 2(1) of the Special Arrangement Ordinance, 2083, related to the Appointment of Public Office-Bearers. The ministry said the notice has been issued for the information of all concerned.
The office-bearers mentioned in the notice include Vice-Chairperson Nandalal Maji, Treasurer Dipak Chapagain, members Sujay Kumar Sah, Madhav Prasad Joshi, Niti Saphkota, Dinesh Raj Saphkota, Nirmal Kumar Uprety, Anuka Limbu (Nyaupane), and Member-Secretary Saroj Kumar Sharma.
